Internet Safety Resources

Internet safety, or cyber safety, is a critical issue for kids and teenagers. Being online can be educational, fun, and great for communicating, but there are also risks--cyberbullying, child predators, human traffickers, identify theft, and more. Trying to cover all the bases can be a daunting task, so experts advise parents and families to keep conversations short and focused on one element of cyber safety at a time. It is also recommended that conversations, reminders, and checks on internet usage happen frequently. This is a spreadsheet of websites and resources for parents and families. English and Spanish resources are included.
