TEEN Summit Deaf Camp - June 8 - July 24, 2026 |
Students ages 14 to 12th grade Deaf Teen Summit is designed to take students age 14 to High school graduates into the community. They have worked on Cul2vate’s farm, stocked at places such as Graceworks, been trained by Deaf men and women small business owners. They earn “bucks” through training and community works for events and outings such as trips to Sonic or Starbucks. They build deeper friendship through these 6 weeks. ROOTS Deaf Camp - June 8 - July 24, 2026 |
Children aged 6 to 13, designed for Deaf, hard-of-hearing, oral students, siblings, and hearing children with Deaf parents. ROOTS is an immersive day camp experience that helps students improve their communication skills through learning ASL, problem-solving, and team building while having fun all summer long. Three days during the week will include problem solving, team building, learning safety, and creating visual stories, and two days will include field trips to fun local places and a field or water day where we will be outside with a variety of game activities. ASL Camp at Taylor Farm Park - June 15 - 18, 2026 |
Students of all hearing abilities (deaf, hard of hearing, hearing and nonverbal) Campers will have the opportunity to learn fundamental ASL through fun and engaging activities such as drawing, coloring, painting, creating handmade jewelry and/or soap or candy making. Campers will learn how to play board and card games in ASL and will learn communication phrases and songs in sign language. Campers will have the opportunity to increase their memorization and communication skills, learn to collaboratively work with their peers and improve their interpersonal skills. Camper's families are invited to attend a special presentation on Thursday, where campers will show off what they learned, and families will have the opportunity to learn a little bit of ASL themselves.
